The Baobab Tree

When the gods create a talking tree, they soon come to regret it because it won't be quiet. So they turn it upside down and bury its head in the dirt. This is the famous African folktale of the creation of the Baobab tree! This is a new title in the fantastic First Reading series, aimed at children who are beginning to read.
